- Nationality: I am a citizen of the world. patriotism is rooted in nationalism, which is fundamentally no different than racism. I happened to be born in pennsylvania, I'm 50% english, a quarter scotch and a quarter welsh ethnically, and the United States currently claims the region I live in - about which I couldn't care less, aside from the fact that I disagree with a great many of their government mandated practices.
